About OUCU

Bowl for Kids' Sake

It's not about the bowling, it's about having fun to help kids!

Ohio University Credit Union is proud to be the primary corporate sponsor of 'Bowl for Kids' Sake', the biggest fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Athens County.

As participants in the event, OUCU employees host internal fundraisers to raise money for its teams of employees for Bowl for Kids' Sake each year.

We would like to say a huge 'Thank You' to the following local businesses who donated items to help make this year's Employee Chinese Auction a success.

  • Blue Eagle Music
  • Athens Veterinary Clinic
  • Donatos
  • Ohio University Inn
  • Pepsi of Athens
  • Casa Nueva
  • Zonez

Because of the support from these businesses and credit union employees, OUCU was able to raise $1,080 at the auction!

In addition to these local business, each credit union department as well as individual employees donated 'goody baskets' and other fun items.

Frontier Communications Donation offer

OUCU would also like to thank Frontier Communications who has agreed to donate to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Athens whenever members order a new qualifying residential or business Frontier product! You will  need to use the code in the following flyer:

  • Teams focus the strengths and inspiration of their members
  • BFKS is not about bowling or bowling skill
  • BFKS is about having fun and helping kids. BFKS is about understanding of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Athens' programs and services and just how effective this program is for children in Athens County.
