FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS REGARDING YOUR NEW OUCU CREDIT CARD

In August, all OUCU credit cardholders will receive a new credit card as we change to a new system.

Here are answers to some of your questions. As always, please contact us at 800.562.8420 or 740.597.2800 or via email at memberservices@oucu.org if we can assist you. We understand getting a new credit card number means contacting online merchants and other businesses with your new number. We truly appreciate your understanding and value your membership.

When will I receive my new credit card?
New cards will be mailed the week of August 12, 2013.
You will also receive a separate mailer with your Personal Identification Number. Your PIN can be used at ATMs to obtain a credit card cash advance with your new credit card.

When can I start using my new card?
You can activate your new card by calling the phone number on the sticker starting Sunday, August 25, 2013. It cannot be activated before August 25.

How long will my old card work?
You can use your old card through Saturday, August 24, 2013. Starting Sunday, August 25th, you can activate your new card. Your old card will not work after August 24th.

Is my rate changing?
No, your rate and minimum payment are the same.

When is my payment due?
Your payment due date is not changing.

What if I have automatic purchases on my OUCU credit card?
After you activate your new card, you will need to contact those companies and give them the new information.

Will I be able to see my account online?
Yes, soon after August 25th. In the CATS Online box, pull down the ‘online banking services’ menu and select ‘credit card log in’. From there you can register your new card in the new online credit card site. You’ll be able to view transactions, view statements, set alerts, make a payment and more.

What if I need a statement from my old card account? Can I get that online?
The new credit card website will store 2 previous statements. After conversion, if you need older statements, please call us at 800.562.8420 or 740.597.2800, and we would be happy to get those for you. You will no longer be able to access ezcardinfo.com for your old card information after conversion. EZcard Info access will end at 10 AM on Friday, August 23.

I earn Bonus Points on my card. Where will those be?
When you activate and start using your new card, you will start earning our new CU Rewards. With our new program, you will have even more great redemption options, including gift cards. The points you earn each month will be added to the totals at the end of each statement cycle. You’ll start seeing them when you receive your first statement in September.

After you receive your first statement in September, visit www.curewards.com. You'll need to register your card in the ‘New Members’ box. .

Why are you replacing our current credit cards?
We had to issue new cards with our switch to a new processor. We hope to be able to offer you more great products and services in the future. We know this is not an easy process so we really do appreciate your patience.

Can I get electronic monthly credit card statements?
Yes, in the CATS Online “online banking options” list, select ‘credit card log in’. There you will be able to enroll in e-statements for credit cards. If you previously had e-statements, you will need to sign up again.

How do I make a payment on my new credit card?
Using the CATS Online ‘transfer’ function, select the account you want to transfer from and then select ‘S50’ credit card account to receive the transfer. Funds deposited in the ‘S50’  will automatically be applied to your credit card balance.

I currently have a MasterCard. Are you switching all the cards to Visa?
Yes, the credit union made the decision to offer all Visa-branded cards.

I use a different bill pay service to make my credit card payment. Will I need to update payment information?
Yes, the payment address is changing so you will need to update your payee information with your new card number and payment information. The new payment address is Visa, PO Box 37603, Philadelphia PA  19101-0603.

What if I have trouble activating my card on Sunday, August 25th, can I call OUCU?
Yes, our call center will be open for emergency card issues on Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm. For non-emergency card issues or other credit union business, please call us during regular hours.
