No Fee Savings Account
When you join Ohio University Credit Union, the $10 you deposit to open a savings account is called your share. This means you are a partial owner of the credit union, and the $10 share represents your ownership in our not-for-profit financial cooperative.

  • No monthly service fee  
  • ATM access available with parent's signature 
  • Special goal savings accounts available 


Free Checking Account

  • $25 minimum deposit to open an account
  • Visa debit card access available with parent/guardian signature for ages 13 & up 
  • No monthly service fee; unlimited transactions
  • Deposit checks using mobile deposit on your smart phone*
  • Text and email alerts can be set up for delivery to teens and parents
  • Paper checks available

Good Grade Rewards
If you achieve grades no lower than a B on your report card, we will deposit $5 into your account! Bring your report card to the teller line to receive your reward!

  • A co-signer (parent or guardian) will be required for all loans
  • Must be 16 or older
