Get more involved in your Credit Union!

OUCU Financial is a thriving, community-centered financial cooperative with over $520 million in assets. The OUCU Nominating Committee is seeking passionate and committed leaders who are members of OUCU and who are interested in helping to shape the future of YOUR credit union through a volunteer Board Director position.

OUCU’s board is comprised of member-centric, visionary leaders committed to the creation of future focused strategies. At OUCU, we are all about members helping members – it’s the core of how we approach member service and our business decisions. If elected as a volunteer director, you will represent thousands of your fellow members while helping guide the credit union and determine its direction for the future.

 

 

If you are an OUCU member and are interested in being considered for a slot on this year’s ballot, complete the nomination application. Applicants are also required to upload their current resume at the end of the application.  Applications are due by January 5, 2026.

Restrictions

  • Immediate family members of current OUCU employees and/or Board of Director volunteers are not eligible to run for the Board of Directors.
  • Employees of OUCU Financial are not eligible to run for the Board of Directors.
  • Individuals who are employed by or have outside business interests with any organization that directly competes with OUCU Financial, or engage in work that is a conflict of interest with board responsibilities are not eligible to serve on the Board of Directors.
  • May not have a personal or professional bankruptcy that would reflect a lack of prudence in handling financial matters.
