Do I Qualify for Membership?

There are many ways you can qualify to join OUCU! Live, work, worship, or attend school in Athens, Meigs, Washington, Vinton, Hocking, Morgan, Perry, Fairfield counties. A student or a graduate of one of the following schools: Ohio University Hocking College Zane State College Belmont College A relative of someone who is eligible for membership: Spouse or domestic partner Parents or step-parents Children or step-children Brothers, sisters, or step-siblings Grandparents or step-grandparents Grandchildren or step-grandchildren

What Do I Need to Open An Account?

Save time by having these items handy: Social Security Number Physical Address – you may also add a mailing address Photo of Government- Issued ID such as Driver’s License, passport, military ID, State ID Card. If you apply on your phone, you can easily capture the images with your phone camera. Joint/Beneficiary Information - If you are adding joint owner or a beneficiary, have the above information for them as well. You’ll be able to open a savings and checking account online. Your savings account is required; it’s your ‘share’ in the credit union. We go above and beyond to help our members live their best lives, so your required initial $5 savings deposit is on us!

Why Did the System Log Me Out?

For security purposes, the application will time out after 10 minutes of being idle. However, you are able to save your progress and return to it later.

Our membership eligibility is easy to meet!

Live, work, worship, or go to school in our 8-county area: Athens, Hocking, Fairfield, Perry, Morgan, Washington, Vinton, and Meigs County.
Be an Ohio University or Hocking College active or retired employee, student, or graduate
Have a family member who is eligible for membership.
Be an Ohio resident of another county. All Ohio residents can join with eligibility through the American Consumer Council.
